"Step into this universe, an interconnected space where imagination and hope connect us across time and space, bridging the past and the future. We are harmoniously bound in our deep selves and in the heart of the world, perhaps because we are all manifestations of a singular element—water, which binds us with all forms of life."

"THE MATTER OF "IF" — HOPE" Series

This ongoing series of sculptures, site-specific, and public art installations metaphorically explores the dichotomies and abruptness of hope as it echoes through both humans and nature. The series aims to push boundaries not only through the formation of the pieces but also by challenging conventional presentations of light, level, and viewer interaction within the concept's framework.

The sculptures explore hope through natural materials, where the characteristics of each display can alter the subjective layer of the pieces. The placement within a space, with shadow as the boundless material at the installer's disposal, reflects the individuality of hope in the context of time and space.

In this context, the installations engage viewers in unexpected ways, whether in darkrooms or public spaces like coastlines, pavement, or walking paths. Each work seeks to shift perspectives in surprising ways, whether by illuminating darkness or revealing a hope stone underfoot where it is least expected. This interplay of curiosity, thresholds, gateways, and poetic transitions invites a journey from the familiar to the unexpected. The series strives to make hope a tangible presence, a new experience, and raises questions, crucial in a world undergoing profound transformations.

"Language is the incomplete translation of feelings."

"HANDS, HEARTS, SKIN, EYES" Series

is a poetic and metaphorical exploration of the world of words and their role in communication. The series reflects on the invisible aspects of language—the hollowness of words and their cognitive perceptions. It delves into the experience of words beyond their conventional interpretations, where body, hands, heart, skin, or eyes transform words into something and somewhere beyond themselves in the deep self. Words weave through us, creating a tapestry of meaning that is felt rather than merely understood within their hollowness.

The study of our brain and nervous system shows that we experience a significant amount of "blindness" when we blink, but we hardly notice it. This challenges the common belief that we are constantly seeing when we are awake, raising questions about our perception and the sense of communication.

The "Blindness" installation, through a symbolic approach, explores the sense of reality that can be incomplete or distorted yet real to us. It's like a mirror reflecting questions about the gap between what we perceive and what we're sure of. This installation strives to provoke thought, challenging our certainty and opening up discussions about the complexities of human perception.

The "Blindness" installation features a series of eyeball-like sculptures placed at floor level, depicting a blinking action that turns into stop-motion depending on the viewer's choice and actions as they move around the installation. Viewers become integral to the installation as they control the occurrence of blinking, the gaps, and the speed. Their movements determine the direction of the "eyeballs" and the pace of the blinking. Whether they walk or stand affects the installation's arrangement, creating a sense that the viewer has control over what they see, hear, and feel despite the force of the given.
